Honest comparison
Wudtr vs Circle
Circle's transaction fee is lower than ours. The part that gets left out of most comparisons is that it stacks on top of Stripe, and it starts above an $89 monthly floor.
What a year costs, side by side
Annual cost at three levels of monthly revenue, on each platform's published rates. Percentages only — fixed per-transaction amounts depend on how many payments make up your revenue.
| Plan | Monthly | Fee | At $500/mo | At $2,000/mo | At $5,000/mo |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Circle Professional | $89 | 4.9% | $1,362 | $2,244 | $4,008 |
| Circle Business | $199 | 3.9% | $2,622 | $3,324 | $4,728 |
| Wudtr Free | $0 | 10.0% | $600 | $2,400 | $6,000 |
| Wudtr Standard | $14.99 | 7.0% | $600 | $1,860 | $4,380 |
| Wudtr Premium | $44.99 | 5.0% | $840 | $1,740 | $3,540 |
On these numbers we stay cheaper well past $5,000 a month — the lines do not cross until roughly $44,000 a month in revenue. Price is not the reason to choose Circle; its community feature set is.

Where Circle is stronger
- A deeper, more mature community product — spaces, events, live rooms, courses
- White-label and custom domains on the higher plans
- A large integration ecosystem and a well-established API
- Its 1% Business rate is very low if your revenue is large enough to absorb $199 a month
Where Wudtr is stronger
- No monthly floor: the free plan costs nothing until you are earning
- Our percentage includes Stripe; Circle's 2% is charged on top of it
- Content library, memberships, link-in-bio and mobile in one subscription
- Faceless video channels and multi-platform publishing, which Circle does not do
Questions
Is Circle's 2% really only 2%?
The 2% is Circle's own fee. Payment processing is charged separately on top, so on a card payment you are typically looking at roughly 4.9% all in. Our 5-10% already includes processing.
Which is cheaper?
At $500, $2,000 and $5,000 a month in revenue we are cheaper, largely because Circle starts at $89 a month before any revenue. The lines do not cross until around $44,000 a month.
What does Circle charge?
Circle publishes Professional at $89 a month with a 2% transaction fee, Business at $199 with 1%, and Circle Plus on custom pricing with 0.5%. Rates from circle.so/pricing, checked September 2026.
Where would you pick Circle?
If your community itself is the product and you need its depth — spaces, events, white-label, its integration ecosystem — Circle does that more thoroughly than we do. We would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
